Educational content only
Everything on starforgeadvisors.com is published for educational and informational purposes. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or investment advice. We are not your lawyer, accountant, or registered investment advisor. Decisions about a specific transaction, structure, or relationship should be made with your own qualified advisors who know the specific facts of your situation.
No professional relationship
Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, or downloading a template does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or advisor-client relationship. Those relationships are formed only through a written engagement letter signed by both parties.
Accuracy and updates
We make a good-faith effort to keep guides current and citations accurate, including a quarterly review of cornerstone content. Regulatory and market conditions change, however; verify any specific rule, rate, or provider before relying on it.
Linked content
We link to third-party content and providers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or business practices. Sponsorship, partnership, and advertising disclosures are in our disclosure policy.
Tool usage
Calculators on this site are provided as-is. We do our best to make them mathematically correct and to flag their limitations on each tool's methodology section. They are not substitutes for a model built around your specific deal, reviewed by your CPA, lender, and counsel.
Securities disclaimer
Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities, an investment fund, or any equity or debt instrument. We don't broker deals, we don't operate a search fund, and we don't accept compensation for promoting specific transactions.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarForge Advisors and its principals are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the newsletter, or any tool or template downloaded from the site. Use them at your own risk and apply your own judgment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the principal's primary place of business, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
